Well, the shit has finally hit the fan.  At least as far as I am concerned.  The bank put my house in foreclosure.  They said something about not paying my bills for like 6 months or something.  I told them that Real Estate has been really slow as of late and things would eventually get back to crazy busy as usual, but they didn’t want to hear that.  So I got kicked out on the street.  This doesn’t really bother too much because I was a surfer growing up and have a sweet Cadillac SUV.  So I just surf all day and drink all night then pass out in my SUV from drinking all night.  The surf isn’t very good where I am currently at — which is Long Beach.  But the chics are hot and they like my SUV.  Although, if I am going to ride this recession out as a bohemian.  I am going to need to have some extra cash for gas and to pick up chics, so they can bring me back to there place.  I need shower every now and then.

Unfortunately, car payment is due in a few days too. I should have planned things better. Apparently, you can fill out an online application for a car title loan in Los Angeles. Los Angeles is the place to be this time of year.  It is so cold every where else.  I am so glad I decided to rent that incredible townhouse right off the ocean.  Sure it is outrageously priced, but damn it is pimpin!  Who cares if I am 78 years old and probably could never hook up with a young braud if I tried.  I am a high life man living the high life!  Sure I am impetent but thats why god invented Viagra, RIGHT?!?! I be running around the beach looking for moldy fruit and I will not be afraid to prey on it like a seagle in heat!  The problem as of late has been finding money for rent.  My nest egg has depleted by half since the stock market crashed and now all I have is a sweet Cadillac ‘08.  I think I may need to use that as colaterall for a loan.  I can’t leave the townhouse because I have a lease and they may take me to court or screw up my credit rating.  Either way, I may need to find a job too.  Santa Monica is a very expensive place to live.

Dance lessons for my buddy Ken’s wedding in Redondo Beach were actually more fun than I thought they’d be. When my wife first suggested them, I told her that she was nuts. However, she remided me that as the best man, I was expected to dance, at least a few times. She hit my pride button, and I realized that I didn’t want to be embarrassed in front of 200 people, or have a video of my white man dancing skills show up on YouTube.

As I said, the lessons were fun, and I even dropped a about 10 lbs in the process. I wouldn’t say that I would go dancing every week, but I can now see the benefit of it. That is, until I threw out my back at the wedding. Everything was going rather swimmingly, until I tried to show off for the crowd. What made me try to throw my wife in the air and then try to catch her was just my pride talking, and throwing out my back and writhing in pain on the floor, was reality answering.

At Little Company of Mary Hospital, they took a scan of my back, just to make sure nothing was broken, there wasn’t, and eventually sending me on my way with a boatload of muscle relaxants, pain relievers, and anti inflammatory pills.
